Elazığ Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as a professional chamber; It is an institution that supports the development of all sectors in Elazig. In this context, besides two organized industrial zones in the region, 1 greenhouse organized industrial zone installation procedures have been completed and land allocations have been started for investors. Our chamber, which has many European Union Grant project experience, has signed a project that will create added value for the food and greenhouse sectors with the Elazığ Business Development Center project. It prepares sectoral reports for the development of social, economic and industry in the region and shares it with investors.
BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT
Some of projects developed for the ECCI are;
• ELAZIĞ AGROPARK Innovation and Training Center proposal has been developed for grant programme of Attraction Centers Support led by Ministry of Industry and Technology (MoIT) and Fırat Regional Development Agency.
• Ecosystem-Based Approach for Climate Change Adaptation in Food Sector proposal has been developed for Climate Change Adaptation Grant Programme (CCAGP), Reference: EuropeAid /170484/ID/ACT/TR call.
• Biological Recycling Plant Feasibility Study and Project Proposal Preparation (Fırat Regional Development Agency – Supporting Programme of Attraction Centres)
• Establishment of Elazığ Intangible Cultural Heritage Inventory (EU Delegation & Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MoCT) -Grant Scheme for Common Cultural Heritage: Preservation and dialogue between Turkey and the EU-II (CCH-II)
